Two new ads I directed for 11890. The arms and legs of the characters are fingers and their heads were thumbs. Then the faces were shot live action and composited onto the thumbs, their costumes were tracked to the fingers and they were shot in a photographic set with 3D cameras in AE. The ad agency that approached us were DDFH+B, creatives Pete Snodden and Roisin Keown, after seeing “CURIOSITY” on YouTube, which also featured finger people.

The agency producer was Dave Brady and Lovely Producer was Brunella Cocchiglia. Compositing and animation by me and Fergal Brennan and 3D by John O’Connell. I have a cameo as the greasy chipper guy in the first ad..
